Cole Lumber Company has proudly served the Western and Central Kentucky region, along with Middle Tennessee, for decades. With a network of 10 stores in Kentucky and one in Tennessee, we are committed to providing quality building materials and exceptional service to every community we call home. Our home office, originally established in Paducah in 1946, has been the foundation of our operations and success. In 2024, we relocated our administrative offices to Scottsville, KY, where we continue to focus on supporting our growing network of locations.

• May 1987: We acquired our Marion, KY location, later moving operations to Eddyville in November 2010.
• September 1987: We expanded to Princeton, KY.
• February 1997: We added Lake City and Benton, KY.
• April 2011: Madisonville, KY joined the family.
• June 2014: Murray, KY became another hub for serving our customers.
• January 2022: Scottsville, KY opened as a central Kentucky branch
• January 2023: We expanded into Middle Tennessee with our Portland location.
• January 2024: We continued our growth by adding a retail branch in Auburn, KY.

Now, in 2025, we are excited to announce the addition of Bowling Green, KY, and Franklin, KY, further strengthening our ability to serve our customers across the region.

Our Commitment to You
Each of our locations operates as an independent satellite yard, with Paducah and Scottsville serving as key hubs for inventory and material support. This decentralized model allows us to provide personalized service tailored to the unique needs of each community.
